i just sold my 93 s10 today. i would have prefered to stay in an s10 but ive found what i want in this ranger (v6 5 speed 4wd and ext cab) and for the price i cant argue.....

any issues with the engine being 200K+? the trans has been rebuilt and a new clutch was installed as well.

mine was a 94. shudnt b my gfs bro has a 98 with a 4.0 auto and his jst hit 200k needs new plugs and wires but other then that it still runs like new trans shifts good never been rebuilt either

Welcome to the Ranger Owner's Club! You'll like having a Ranger, they're tough little trucks. I would have to say the main thing I would look at are all the spring mounts to see how badly rusted they are. I would also change all the fluids and filters front to rear once you get it.

You will love it! My first truck was an 89 2 wheel drive B2000 manual and I loved it. I got a 92 ranger after that and I will never go back, had my ranger now for 5 years now and I beat the piss out of it and had to rebuild the tranny once and it hasn't failed me since. I did alot, and I mean alot of stop light racing and power braking in this beast, and it is a 2000 XLT off-road step side, I have the pics in my profile!

i sure hope i keep it. this is vehicle number 7 for me at 18 so maybe this one will stick around. probably get some pics tomorrow once the topper comes off.

for now i plan to make sure everything is up to par and daily drive it. eventually, when funds become available id like to put a 3" james duff lift on it. done some searching on here already and that seems to be one of the best, and not terribly expensive imo.

your gonna love it! mines a 93 with a 4.0 5spd and 4x4 too :D i beat the crap out of that poor lil truck and it ujst keeps going, easy to work on, nothings really all that hidden and has yet to leave me stranded on the road

had a topper on it but i didnt like it... let me know what you think
