I have an 89 Ranger with the long bed (7ft). Do all long beds have the same width? I'm looking to buy a used tonneau cover that fits a 2000 7 ft. Ranger and can't find this info anywhere on the site. Thanks:icon_confused:

Hard to believe no one knows the answer to a basic question like this. Even the Extang site does not seem to have the answer. Anyone?:icon_confused::icon_confused:

i have an 87 std bed whats your width? and i'll measure mine

From inside edge to inside edge it's 54" on my dad's 2000 6ft bed. It's the regular side too, not that stepside one.

Hope this helps.

Mine is 4 1/2 feet wide (54") on the inside dimension, and 7 feet long measured from the inside edges (or 84") That's approx. 60" by 87" measuring to the outside.

So far from browsing the internet it looks like all Rangers with long beds from 83 to 2009 are the same. Thanks for your reply.:icon_cheers:

The bedrails may be wider on the newer ones....but im not for sure if it would even matter or not.

later,
Dustin
