Does anyone have drawings, schematics, specs, blueprints etc for the long and short bed Ranger, 98 and up? I'm trying to find the differences in length of the rear sections AND where they are located.

Wingnut:

Drawings/schematics/specs/blueprints - No. Dimensions - Yes.

Both sections of the '98+ Ranger are different between the short and long both frames (much to my dismay; otherwise a long box s/c would be so easy).

The long box cab section is exactly 6" longer than than that of the short box, the extra length is between the rear cab mount and the joint for the back section.

The box section is exactly 6" longer than the short box, the extra length is between the spare tire mount and the bumper attachment (You will find getting spare out of a long box to be huge PIA as it is way under the box..)

Hopefully, that answers your question sufficiently.
