Long time lurker first time poster... Got a 94 that started off as a 3.0, now bored over .10 on each cyl, mustang heads and rockers, lightened flywheel, electric fan conversion, and a gutted intake (got rid of the stupid vacuum activated emissions bs). I'd still like just a little more power, been thinkin about doing the MAF sensor massacre in this video just to see what it'd do since I've heard varying results. Most people say to mess with the fuel pump/injectors or go straight for tuning, all of those sound expensive though... plus, can you even tune an OBD-I?? I don't need anything crazy, just a few more hp would be nice. Thanks in advance! =D

the video in question: (189) Ford Ranger 3.0L Mass Airflow Mod - YouTube

A 3.0 bored .10 over would be about a 3.06

Mustangs never had a 3.0, so not sure what heads you have.

not entirely sure… motor was rebuilt by a machine shop, that’s just what i was told. maybe i should double check with the guy hmm

Couldn't hurt, with the other mods. Grab a MAF housing from the scrapyard. Keep the original as a spare Gut it. Do a better job than the guy in the video. Ditch the original air filter box. Might need bigger fuel injectors after, again get used from a scrapyard and rebuild them.
