battery died must left on the accessory!
well now i got to start the truck of course i only get a faint light on the dash since battery is dead but when i click it over i hear a quite beeping sound under passanger dash??? any1 know what that is i never heard it befor

replace your battery first, mostly a warning beep or device not getting the power it needs, mine made some serious clicking from the relays when my bat died
hope it helps

yea i dont think its the battery its new. gotta be leaving the acceorys on! that would kill my battery!
but you answerd my question! a device not getting enough power! thanks

I had a sound like that. Does it have airbags? Supposedly if something is not right with it, it will beep loudly. And it's under the passenger dash (well mine was).

yeah true too!! how is that beeping? is it a sequence of beeps? if so something is wrong with the bags, check the light in the dash, and under the dash in the center on the passenger switch

na only bags are in the streering wheel! popped out the passanger side befor cause i didnt see you warnings or nothing & need'd to pull the old radio out. nothing was there but you could see where the wires just hooked up to a stub so it wasnt just dangling

It can mean that the bulb for the airbag warning light on the dash is burnt out.

It may only have a driverside airbag, but '95-'97 have pretty much the same dash.

So the control unit for the airbag may still be on the passenger side, the control unit is what beeps. And yes, having the burned out dash light for the airbag will cause it to beep (which is how I found out about it). As for what it looks like, never found out, I just got the bulb working again so it wouldn't beep.

Since he only has the one airbag, I don't believe he will have a key switch by the ash tray to turn airbags on and off.
