if i were to put saye 2 or 3'' blocks under my leafs would i have to run new brake lines and whatnot? my leafs are sagging so i might end up just adding a leaf. or would it just be easier to raise the back end up with blocks???

Your brake lines will be fine with a 2-3" block. You may need longer Ubolts tho. :icon_thumby:

And your truck might have 2" blocks from the factory...

So don't go stacking blocks...

yea i was going to say it looks like it does have a 2'' block under it already. do you think i should just add a leaf or get a bigger block? i aint concerned about houw rough it rides, i just wanna get the rear end sitting level or a little higher than the front end.

If your leafs are sagging that bad, I'd go with an add-a-leaf, you could go with a taller block, but then axle wrap comes into play.

AAL's usually net you about 1-1.5" of lift. It will be stiffer tho, so expect some bouncyness over bumps

dumb question....whats axel wrap?:dunno:

when you accelerate the resulting torque causes your axle to twist backwards. you can witness this on trucks with large or stacked blocks. you will see the rear wheels move toward the front of the wheel well before the vehicle starts to move.

you could also try longer shackles of a little lift.

Google it.

much apreciated yall. got duals on the ranger now lol. will work on adding a leaf this spring.

the explorer leaf swap works well too, that's what I did, couple inches of lift for fairly cheap
