Anybody know how these mount on the seat? Possible to put on the older fixed back split bench?

There are two pegs that stick out from the seat. The cup holder has two keyhole shaped slots. I’ll send a picture.

Pull up hard and it pops off.

The posts look like they screw into the frame of the seat, you would probably have to fab up something on the frame to screw them into.

Yeah, I was hoping they clipped on from below.

I made my neat steel cupholder for my bench seat and now with the split bench it flops all over.

Probably be easier to install a cupholder armrest onto your new seats. Only downside is they only have one cup holder.

So don't drink two things at once!

What if you are pounding monsters and eating clam chowder on the way to work?

More of a "his and hers" situation.

98% of the time it is just me and my dog in the truck anymore though unless we are road tripping.

There is a big steel plate under the seat I pondered about attaching what I have to, I might check into that more when I get the seats recovered.

Could get one of them center consoles that buckle in to the center of a bench, from the autozone or whatever. Can toss that in if you plan on going on a long trip.

@85_Ranger4x4 If your cupholder looks like this
62585

You could drill and tap some holes into the seat frame and then put some screws with big heads in the tapped holes and attach cupholder to screws.

If the seats are like mine, the holes and the welded on nuts are already there. I pulled the plugs filling the holes to mount my quad band radio to the seat. So, if they are there for mine, they are probably already there for you.
