I led a group of jeeps and one other ranger (Tim / metalmacguyver) up OFR this past weekend, here are a few pics.

early on i realized my LF hub wasnt locking, so tim quickly jacked my truck up and i took the hub apart to find somehow the locking cam had pushed through the first toothed piece... without breaking.. put it back together correctly, and no more problems

a little hydro-lock, he took care of it real fast, (pulled plugs/turned it over).. then made the pond no trouble the next try

a video of me going through the bog pond:

i went really slow up this one, because i BARELY have enough clearance between the ledge and my rear DS, last time i actually bent the DS on the ledge. so this time i had them throw a few rocks under to boost my rear end up a bit. the next 2 videos are of that ledge.

tim on one of the obstacles

Tim had sent me over a link to these. Pretty cool stuff!

its a decent trail, two big rock ledge obstacles, and 4 miles of semi-technical stuff..

not really a big deal for a jeep with 4", 33s and lockers..

but takes a little more thought when you have a 126" wheelbase, and only about 14" of travel from your TTB :)

Looks like a good time. We don't really have any water out here, just lots of rocks. You end up breaking more stuff, but I hate cleanup after water and mud, although I'll give anything a shot :D

It was a great time. The motor drank a little water but it doesnt appear to have caused any damage. Fresh fluids all around and the only thing that water got into was the Tcase.

Thanks for posting these. I have not had time and now I have a shit ton more from wheeling this weekend.

yea, i hate water, strictly because it gets into my front wheel bearings like nobody's business..

i hate the clean-up after mud also, i avoid water if possible.

rocks and gnarly washouts are where its at. :icon_hornsup:
