Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

looks great, very clean lines....what did you use, angle grinder?

Dang man, you're nuts. Ready for some 40's now.

Thanks guys!

I used a 4.5" cut off wheel on a dewalt angle grinder, works really good.

Bray, think I am gonna go lower in lift an inch or 2 and bigger in tires so I might have to use the extra space....besides, it makes me look tough being all cut and shit! lol

that would be perfect...2 inches lower and a 37 would look great..

told ya you would like the fenders :D time to get rid of the rockers :thefinger:

and after looking and the pictures a few times....god i wished i would have threw an ex-cab on my frame like i planned...:annoyed:....maybe down the road

its funny....any of us who ACTUALLY wheel would rather a LOW and wide stanced truck....thats how you tell the real wheelers from the posers...

yea hell im on 35's on 2.5 inches of lift... wouldnt even mind if it were an inch lower...or an inch more of tire

So the fact I had to cut my valence and the backs out of my flares makes me a real wheeler then, eh? Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet:D

Im sitting on about 10" of lift and 35's. But then again, my truck is a fawking shop ornament too :'(

I want 37's on 4" lift on the BII... but I would need to SAS. :annoyed:

I like how you trimmed the fenders. Wonder how that would look on my 89?

i was goin to go 37s on 2" body lift and 1" washer spacers and i agree it looks sick when i cut mine i went just as far back but i made my cut line a cm below where the top of the fender flare then bent it 90 degrees at the line of the top of the fender flare it looked just like stock but was just bigger

And the saga continues. I went for a drive in the truck tonight, had it up to 80mph and it feels very good. Still checking into my options for a sway bar, thinking of making one. Anyway, go to turn on my lights, the F'ers wont turn on. They did last time I tried, but now the switch just buzzes and shit. So I went home and swapped the switch, nothing. The plug looked a little fubar so I switched the plug out from the parts truck and it still wont work. Not sure what to look at now....the brights still work if I pull back on the blinker lever. Any ideas??? But there goes my plans for driving it to work!

Mine did the same a while back. I had to replace the turn signal switch. It fixed the problem. Try changing that with the one from the parts truck, it it's any good.
