Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

not to call you out but thsi is a false statement. i agree on most trucks rediculosly jacked up are posers, but specificly in snow, height is a good thing. for all the snow wheelin ive done i wish i had another foot of ground clearance. getting hung up in snow from the front bumper to the back is a pita lol

Low has nothing to do with ground clearance. You can have a LOW vehicle with shit tons of ground clearance, or a HIGH vehicle with little ground clearance. By LOW I mean centre of gravity.

For example...LOW with lots of ground clearance.

Its definitely dependent on what type of wheelin you do. Like he said, mud or snow, frame height would help.

I made it out btw. Just wanted to show that I was pushing snow with my bumper/grille. :D

they are portals...ie Mog axles. Theyre like a tractor, with a reduction at the wheel.

they are junk. and cost about 9000$ a piece. forget about it.

yeah, i was sure when i seen them that they would cost your first born and your soul.
sorry kyle for starting all this thread jacking btw lol

sorry to keep jacking the thread, but what do these axles come from? some sort of farm equipment? or are the specifically made for off road by some amazing company?

i know their are some volvo ones i seen on pirate

Ah, thank you! ive only seen a unimog once, and it was plowing, so i have never seen the axle. pretty cool. now if they only did this with all axles!
