Its not really a huge deal finding that receipt...not a horribly expensive part...either way it should hopefully be up and running again within I would say two weeks tops depending on how long the new rear end takes to send...also picked up a new cd player too so I'm not stuck with radio haha

Well, let me introduce myself as the new owner of Kevin's Explorer. Drove it home without much issue besides a wicked vibration from the rear end haha. Got it into the shop, and found out that the gears are about half worn and there is a bunch of metal debris floating around the rear end. Gonna have a shop out of Caspian, MI build a new rear end with the same 5.13 gear ratio and gonna go with a full spool, so that should hopefully be done in a week or so and be shipped and ready to throw back in. Only other issue is the slave cylinder is shot so thats going to be getting fixed as well and gonna go from there

Hey Jerry, what shop in Caspian are you having build your rear end? I work down there in the summers so I'm pretty familiar with the shops.

I'm actually not sure of the name of it, a guy at a local shop got a hold of them for me...not much updates for now on it...rear end should be in this week hopefully...picked up an 06 expedition for a dd though...ordered up a bunch of parts for that to throw on and make look good and got a lift coming that should be on within the next couple weeks and gotta decide on wheels and tires for that so I should have plenty to keep me busy with vehicles and such

Yay, the Exploder is back in action and the weather is getting nicer. Hopefully I will be able to finally go out wheeling soon

I guess a little minor update, I have a nice 200 amp alternator on the way for a little bit more power and will be putting an Optima red top battery in...Also got some new offroad lights on the way to throw on...One of the big things I'm trying to figure out now is what I wanna do for air for tires after being out on the trail
