We havent gotten enough that will last more two days on the ground let alone enough to even get up to my rims.

dang. in the pic where i'm up near the woodline. there is still a good foot or two below my tires. just before i called it quits i spun them till there was no resistance i.e. tires were just spinning with no throttle. tried a half assed dig out and gave up as soon as i plunged the shovel in my track and it sank past the blade without hitting anything.
twas a long ride backwards on the end of a winch. winch motor on the jeep was smokin by the time i got back up to the top of the hill.

took the truck out for a little ride tonight and now it's making noise from the front end very similar to when the bushings started going on the arms. i'm gonna be pissed if i have to replace them again allready. if i do i will likely start looking into switching them all over to flex joints.

i do have to say i LOVE the gears and locker. now i just need to look into a front traction device.

Loaf the tires? guess i'm behind on the lingo.
if by loaf you mean cut then yes. ran the iroks in the rear and trxus up front for this trip. both are cut. didnt get any justifiable results from switching from the sx's since i dont think anytire was going to make it thru there. the only noticable differance is it doesnt feel nearly as heavy. which i found an explination for.

Sorry I meant air down, every one around here calls it loafing when we go down to like 2-5psi in the tires for better float. Looks like great wheeling!

Didnt air down due to not being able to air back up at this point. running 20psi in all 4 tires on this ride. it was too long of a ride back home to run them aired down the whole way

in the works. lookin into co2. but have some other important purchases before i can start droping money on that. though bout disabling the A/C a couple times and set it up again. but i think i'm gonna dig using it in the summer.

OH. and were suposed to be getting a blizzard tomorrow so we will see how much snow that brings us. most reports say 10" some a little more some less. all i know is its starting to snow right now and i'm running low on firewood!!!! time to make a mad dash out in the woods with the S-10 to snag some up!!!

Im suppose to get rain tomorrow. It will be 62 degrees too but Ill be at the GF house which means I wont be near my engine to start on it.

more snow fell today 10-12 inch's. so had to go out and burn more gas. was fun to get them out and actually make it down the trail's airing down to 5 psi makes a HUGE difference. make's me wonder if we would have actually had a chance of making it in to the camp(er). today's snow was wet, heavy, and blowing. so it made for some good time's. in the woods was easy going for the most part. as long as you didnt get off trail. in the open it was again hard to see where the trail was and the dips and ditch's were. also made for some really deep drifting along treelines and at the base of hills.

not much snow in the woods. this is just a small clearing surrounds by dense woods. jsut big enough to turn a truck around in.

The start of the bad stuck of the night. could have been out easily but didnt use the winch due to a small bet made.

what made it bad. yep the other truck is stuck too. had a race out just digging. (I lost and got tugged out)

i was stuck alot deeper and could only make it out one direction (without the winch) but not making any excuses since I agreed to the bet. i just didnt have it in me to shovel fast enough.

not much snow on the trail but steep ditch's on either side and you cant tell where they start.

Looks like loads of fun! I love snow wheeling, no cleanup like there is with mud.

snow wheelin seems to make your rig cleaner. cleans your tires and wheels like no other and knocks most mud off the rig. that is unless you get so stuck that you dig all the way down to the ground and make mud. then your SOL
