Just Plain Stupied

I thought you were carburated DG, why the o2 sensor? Did I miss something in the three hundred or so pages or has my memory finally gone completely down the toilet?

Well......after I took my meds..........

I'm tryin to splain it now....be quiet--whippersnapper!

it had something to do with him adjusting the air/fuel mixture

Finally......somebody was paying attention...waaaaahahahahhhahaa.....I wanted the best mixture that I could get (Holley carbs are factory set to idle rich/run rich so the engine will scream when you floor it)....I had to drill small holes in the butterflies to lean the idle mixture enough/had to rejet themain jets to get the highway mixture lean enough....

the 02 sensor and a 0-1 voltmeter was the way the guys told me to do it---I only 02'd the passenger side & then adjusted the driver's side mixture screw to the same numbers of turns.

As for the drain plug in the torque converter...being a helicopter mechanic slash doorgunner---I like to do things right/take stupied chances ;missingteeth;

By the way.....the engine rpm dropped from 2250 @ 60mph down to 2000 @ 60 mph after servicing the xmsn (old term for xmsn...errr...transmission)

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd.....by the way......I added a Table of Contents so we.......errrrr.....you guys could reminicse(sp) :icon_rofl:

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNND....HAPPY EASTER MEN.....THANKS, JESUS FOR CARING FOR US!

You talking about Zatarans sprinkle-on seasoning.....it's gooood---but you can only do so much with it ((once you taste Loo-z-anna cooking.... you taste buds is addicted for the rest of you life)

.or are you talkin bout zatarans packets of seasoned rice that you throw in a pot with some chicken/sausage/pork and you cook everything together until the smell makes your stomach growl like a alligator?

As for da riva meltin up there.....I better get my piroque out the shed in case i got to park my truk up the road for high water....it usually takes to June before we get the water at the top of the levees down here.....then some New Orleans people move up-the-road for a week to stay with relatives.

This would make the best book ever. So much reading, so many pictures, it tired me out from reading and looking at all of this. I have to say that that truck is awesome, wish I had the skills to do that stuff, more or less I'd just use duct tape on everything.

Dee Gee, there you go. You should turn this into a book. You could call it "Over 300 pages of assorted BS and Hyenas. Oh, and how to convert an '89 Ranger into a '36 Ford Truck." :D :icon_bounceblue:
