I'm tryin to splain it now....be quiet--whippersnapper!
Finally......somebody was paying attention...waaaaahahahahhhahaa.....I wanted the best mixture that I could get (Holley carbs are factory set to idle rich/run rich so the engine will scream when you floor it)....I had to drill small holes in the butterflies to lean the idle mixture enough/had to rejet themain jets to get the highway mixture lean enough....
the 02 sensor and a 0-1 voltmeter was the way the guys told me to do it---I only 02'd the passenger side & then adjusted the driver's side mixture screw to the same numbers of turns.
As for the drain plug in the torque converter...being a helicopter mechanic slash doorgunner---I like to do things right/take stupied chances
By the way.....the engine rpm dropped from 2250 @ 60mph down to 2000 @ 60 mph after servicing the xmsn (old term for xmsn...errr...transmission)
