no beams at the mailbox yet.......

but I did yank the grill off to do the electric fan thing.....

also yanked the radiator & dropped it off to get it boiled & a few leaks fixed....

I'll post some pics of the "minor adjustments" tonite before I start putting stuff back together.......

that oughta take care of the overheating problem in 95* + heat & stop-in-stop traffic

I think it would be easier to fix the truck and track down the shipping truck and take them out and drive back home and instal them.

Basiclly take stuff into your own hands.

some news on the drop beams that I odored......

1st......the bad news......

the beams have been on back-ODOR for 18 days....good thing I didn't yank the stock beams out from under it yet.......

now....the uhhhhhhhhh....good news...the beams will be boxed up this coming Monday.....

I MITE get em by Saturday....probabobally......maybe....for sure....

I WON'T be sleeping by the mailbox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All-right............

took the Ranger for a 120 mile spin to check out the radiator repair/eeeelectric fan install......

it ran cool as could be.....the 180* temp switch from Jegs worked just right--Fan On at 180* at traffic lights--Fan Off at 170* between lights :yahoo:

the only drip came from the old lower radiator hose where it connects to the radiator...I picked up a new hose on the way home :yahoo:

EDIT: Man.......that engine bay is quiet without that mechanical fan roaring....I can hear the carb pulling air thru that dual-inlet air cleaner and the exhaust popping at idle.....the electric fan only comes on at long traffic lights in 85* temp!!!!
