thanks man, there are the real deal cragar s/s rims from the late 60's

im running 14'' rims now and the tire size is 225/70/14 and i run cooper cobra tires.

when i do get new rims, ill go 15'' and get 225/70/15's up front and 235/60/15's out back

mine arent that nice up close.

no worries, i would NEVER get rid of the 60's muscle TRUCK look. thats the theme of my truck anyway.

picking up the trans wednesday. gonna get the fluid and crap for it, and throw it in end of the week.


while its on the lift, im going to route the exhaust lightning style, drones a bit much for me being dumped before the rear axle.

plus itll sound better.

i also have to make new seat brackets for the new bench i put in.


MUUUUUUUUUUCH more comfy then the stock one.

will post pics this weekend, the ranger is still buried in snow.

so, you know ive got the flowmaster original 40s dumped on this, and i plan to do the exhaust lightning style.


but now im thinking of running cherry bomb extremes rans lightning style.

so, the trans i was waiting to get sold. ahhhhgggg



so shopping around, its like 4-600 for a used 700r4.

im still not set that i like that tranny, reliability with mmy foot seems to bother me

so, i found a good th350 trans thats a direct swap. it has the longer 9'' tail shaft. its 250 and its all bench checked and good to go.

sure, it doesnt have as steep of a first gear as the 700, or the overdrive. but is a great bullet proof trans that will do what i want. go fast.

maybe a year from now, ill try the 700 again. but this gets me back on the road in a day, and a lot less headaches to worry about.

plans changed again.


so just as im set on doing the turbo 350. ones of the guys i work next to and do business with says, hey i got a good 700r4, i drove it, no problems, give me 100 for it, and if it dont work out, ill give ya your money back.


so i get to keep my overdrive and low first gear, and, have money left over to get some upgrades.
