Just got a nice little cruiser.. 2.9 w/ headers, 5 speed, XLT trim, black, extended cab, red interior, front drop springs, rear leaf removed, billet grill

I hate the wheels it has (wire) so I'm having the stock aluminums polished with new center caps.

Most remarkable thing about this truck is how CLEAN it is! Only 56,000 original miles. I gave $2250 for it.

What is the value of one of these? I'll snap some pics tonight and post them

awwwww....I wouldn't have paid more than $500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just picking!

If you like it.....it's worth a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey see your a first poster so a big Welcome, you found a great site. Sounds one great deal! Hard to find trucks newer than 2000 with that few miles. Up here in Wisconsin, the "Salt Monster" gets them for one thing. Sit back, find a spot and enjoy.

Low rider? Blah....I hate low riders...lol Welcome to our site, Bro. There is a section for the 'How low can you go crowd'. Check it out!!!!

156 sounds more realistic to me. You can tell by looking at the odometer easy. If all the numbers are lined up perfect than it probably has not rolled over already. If the numbers are not in line, for eample, with some of the numbers higher and some of them lower in the line ,than it has rolled over for sure.

If it only has truly 56 on it, I would be dropping the fuel tank and clean it out or replace it, because if it has been sitting that much then it will have rust in it.

Post some pics please! I hope it was welll loved.

Yeah I'm not much of a low low guy either...

Regarding mileage - previous owner bought the truck from the original owner with 25k on it. Never been driven in the winter either. Not a spot of rust anywhere.

I'm ditching the wire wheels and the murdered out tails.. Needs some work, valve cover gaskets, ac recharge, fuel sending unit and the brake light/abs is illuminated.

Not digging that ford emblem placement on the grill, but other than that its a sharp looking truck. Put a nice stereo and speaker set it in and I say she's a cruiser.

The wheels bother me more than the emblem placement..

I spent Sunday afternoon removing the lame ass headlight covers and the window tint covering 40% of the windshield, not to mention the exterior huge ranger decal

My overall plan is to put it back to stock. I have the original springs and leafs, maybe next year. I'm too involved in a 6sp silverado I'm putting together.

i like the wheels.:dunno:

hard to believe there is actually more then 30-40k on uit by the seat condition....

great score:icon_thumby:

i like it, and i would keep the black look and the lowered, its not too much and not enough, looks "just right" and those rims are hella ugly, mexicano ftl when it comes to rims

I say drop a 5.0 in it and put the motor on 'roids. That is the plan I have for my future project.

I've had all brands ford/chevy/dodge and have ZERO brand loyalty. I think you guys would kill me if I put a LS into a ranger

Always liked the rangers but don't care for the SBF. LSX is a much better engine. It's too bad ford modular v8s are so wide.

I still have an 83 Bronco that I put an F150 cab on and a super short box, all kinds of little mods, onboard air, 200A alternator, saginaw power steering, rear radiator, GM TBI, offy intake and dual outlet EFI manifolds.

Here it is extracting my old Dodge 12V, shattered the front driveshaft playing in the snow...The dodge had 370 injectors, 0 plate, 3k gsk, HX35/40 hybrid, that truck was a blast. The NV4500 was so much fun to bang gears in :headbang:

Now my wheeler is a 79 Jeep J20, AMC 360, 203/205, manual valve body TH400, 60/HO72, 4.56s and 42" pitbulls
