I just had master clutch cylinder put in and slave cylinder replaced earlier this year. 2001 Ford ranger 133k miles 2.3 liter 5 speed.

The clutch does have pressure in the petal but just like before master was replaced, when I am stopped at a red light andin gear teh truck stalls which tells me not enough pressure against clucth plate correct.

I took reservoir cap off and pumped clucth and got real pressureon pedal. It quickly fades though.

Is there something else I can do other than bringing it back to shop to see if master is leaking again. Its only been a few weekss.

Thnaks in advance

Sounds like you either have air in the system or you have a bad slave cylinder.

i had the same problem get the new style slave cylinder they got out now its a lil more expensive but it works good

Like I was saying in the PM's, make sure you get it fully bled. That includes tilting the master and pumping it by hand.
