just got some hella rallye 3000's and need help

So I just got these lights for free, problem is they came with NOTHING but the housing. I figured I need an h1 bulb but what do I do for wiring? Should I use hid or just stick with halogen? I opened them up and there is a brown and white wire right below where the bulb goes in, what is that for?

so it looks like i am going to go with h1 55w hid conversion on these lights. next question. my truck came with stock fog lights, can i wire these up to work off that harness/switch? or is that wiring not strong enough to hold that type of current?

You can, but I wouldn't recommend it, just for the fact that you may want your fog lights on, and not the driving lights, which are illegal for road use anyways. The best way is just to do a separate switch mounted somewhere.
This is pretty much the way I did my KC's.

You can add relays, buts thats exactly how mine are wired up.

I currently dont have fogs so thats why id like to just use current swich. Ur diagram is the best ive seen so far so thanks for help!!

Well, you should have said that! Lol, well I'd still just put in a separate switch in case you ever want to add fogs, but yes, you should be able to use the stock switch with your lights.
