hey i swarp this 92 4L whit the wiring harness and computer in my 91 2.9

and now wen i conec battery i get the single light and hight beem allways on
and my battery gage and rpm dont work

but i find out if i take out my fuse for the 4x4 electronick the light go off and my gauge work again but if i put my light on or single light hight beem my gage go all crazy

anyone know what could cause tha any solution ? and thanks

i evan change the wire from the dash and to the back and to the lil omputer tha in the back driver seet and still do same thing

sounds like a power ground issue.

yeah tha what i was thinking too but we cant find nothing vrong or where it could be

isolate the powers to the fuse block.

make sure the grounds out under the hood are good, the one for the wipers can cause screwy stuff. and line by line the power and grounds to the 4x4 computer on the a and b sides. make sure b1 gets ground in neutral and not power all the time...

be patient and look at the schematic.

thanks il try tha

make sure b1 gets ground in neutral and not power all the time... what do you mean by b1 ? and the motor is standers was original automatic wire so had to bypass wire to make it start an i dont got and electrick tranfer case no more i use the manual

well completely remove that wiring from the system then.

on that shift computer theres two sets of terminals, usually one side is a and the other b. but i have seen some that were just numbers before.

likely you have an error in the commons when you bypassed the starting circuit from the conversion.
