Just curious to know...........

You should have BMT, National Defense and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. I have been out for a year now so I maybe wrong. Go to your AF portal and check it out.

You are probably right, I've had people tell me I should meet the qualifications for it. Don't know where to find it on AF Portal though, I'm assuming somewhere on vMPF. I'm not overly concerned about it though, I do my best to avoid being put in a situation where I would have to wear my blues (99% of the time it means you are in trouble/messed up real bad, at least at this base). They have brought in "Blues Mondays" but that's only for back office people, and its too cold in the winter for blues, so it only is done a few months out of the year.

Yeah it is under your vMPF, decorations I believe. That is the most current and accurate way to tell.

2 years into it I have two ribbons (yes, the ones that every Airman receives upon graduation of BMT). I may qualify for the "Global War on Terror" ribbon, but its kind of hard to earn ribbons when you don't deploy...

No, you have three opon graduation of BMT for the last three years or so. Suprised you made it through tech school without that getting noticed. We got that message 10mins within steppin' off the bus at Keesler.

Adrian just come home safe. Your Ranger misses you.

Oh I will soon enough, about halfway done now actually, but it's not that bad. First I thought wait, I don't have a ranger to miss me, but the F-100 '79 is of the "Ranger" trim.

My tech school instructors told us that we were not authorized to wear the GWOT ribbon while we were in tech school. Graduated Tech School about a year and a half ago in Lackland. Be safe :icon_thumby:.

Your instructor was full of sh*t. Everyone at any time if you served during the GWOT you are authorized to wear it.

Oh well, I'll go pick up the ribbon and a new ribbon rack when I get my first whole clothing allowance (next month). Paying out of pocket for ABUs was a borderline bad idea.
