Just joined the forum after looking at threads all day
Here she is, Kind of rough, haven't named her yet.
Bought it yesterday for $1000. Its my first truck, (I'm 17)
Its a 2.3 I believe 4Cyl 5 speed. Only 100,000 miles on it with a new clutch
it needs some work, like new coils in the front, all 4 shocks need to be replaced, only has two matching rims, so I need to find 2 more matching rims (like the front ones) definatley want to get bigger tires.
I want to make it into a prerunner for sure. looking to upgrade the suspension. Do a prerunner style lift on it, replace the bumpers with tubular custom ones, as well as the tailgate. Put some flared fenders on all four sides, put a decent sound system in it, its only a single cab, so I'm limited on space, gonna get it painted all black, black out every thing from lights to windows.
But to the point;
anyone have any advise as to what parts are compatible for this truck from a ford ranger? what would need to be changed to fit flared fenders on it?
Anyone have any suggestions as far as lift kits go? I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to off road parts, but i know my way around cars. Any suggestions to get more power out of the engine? Its only a 4 cylinder, know of any paint/ body place to repair and paint it at a cheap price in Vegas? It has a couple dings and scratches around it.
Anyway; Anything helps, i just want to become more knowledgeable about the truck, if anyone has any input on it, I'd appreciate it.
