Those of you that run a doubler, I am wondering about the shifting options and the do's and dont's of shifting and using one. Mine is a d&d 1350/1354 both manual shift. Also does anyone have a measurement of there 4" lift ttb bracket that mounts on the passenger side. I need the measurement from the top of the bracket to the center of the hole where the beam mounts. Just making sure my brackets are 4" lift like I was told. Thanks

What do you run the doubler and transfer case in while you are daily driving?

2hi but it isn't a daily driver. I have done a few 60 mile drives each way. I have maybe put 8000 miles on the truck in the 10 years i have owned it. It spent a few years in storage and a few as trailered.

Thanks for the info. I got my shifter situation figures out. Anyone happen to have that measurement for the lift bracket? Thanks

Wheels came in so I took my tires to have my buddy mount them all up. Also got a little work done on front end, radius arms are not mounted to frame but it was neat to see the potential.

Got the front end back under it, nothing is fine tuned yet. I will wait until the powertrain is in so all the weight will be on the suspension.

Got the ranger back to my house, I had it at a friends house who was helping me with the gears and suspension.

A little more progress.

Decided I should run an m5od instead of the fm146. I found this gem with a m5od and good running 4.0.

M5od is getting pulled from navajo to swap into ranger. I'm going to run a fuel cell in the bed since the doubler hits the stock fuel tank. This is the one I will use.

For those of you who have ran xj springs on ttb I have a question. I have the xj coil spring isolater and the 1 1/2" npt hardware for the spring to sit on. Should I put the plug in the npt hardware and drill a hole for the stud and to make sure it stays center?

what ppi are your springs???

at this point in time the d30 is better then the d35 ttb due to available parts. you can actually cost effectively work with a d30.

but...you know... the ttb d44 is better then a d30. you can actually buy upgrade parts for the ttb d44

i like the ttb d44.

you need to be careful with bucket location and angle if you want to run low ppi springs for max travel for trail work.
