Its a sad day....smashed the Ranger

Glad to see your ok man. i hate to see a fellow ranger go down. May she live on through her parts, or resurrect into a new life.....

On the flip side, if there is anything left of the tree still standing, i say you go get even with it...chainsaw time.....

ouch! glad to hear ya'll are ok. just remember, the truck did its job, and that job was saving your life.

too bad you don't live closer, i have a mint 87 Bronco II frame that will probably go to the crusher. if you are going to tube the back, you can put the rear axle anywhere you want it.

Here in Tennessee if you hit a dear or any animal that cause damage to your truck/car, you can call the wildlife guys and the state will pay to have the truck/car fixed.

you should check and see if your state does that.

Wow man, that really sucks. I know I would be heart broken. Glad you guys are OK. I'm sure you'll build another rig and be beatin on it in no time.

I'm honored to have wheeled with this rig when it was in its prime. RIP.

Sucks man. That was a nice truck.

This is almost like dejavu for me..... :annoyed:

I work with a local local guy up here(Iron Range) who has a 94 4X4 supercab with a 4.0(broken input shaft) that he's selling for $800.

Or this guy is a little closer to home.

If we were only closer.....I have a line on a 2WD regular cab right now, just need to come to terms on a price. If I get it, I will start building it ASAP. I just sold my 84 Buick T-Type to be able to afford this.....

Wow, glad you two are somewhat ok! I cringed as I was looking at the pictures!

Sad to see, I always liked your ranger and you are a fellow Michigander... I'll keep a lookout for some cheap rangers around my parts...

Building is half the fun! Right?

damn, sorry to see that kyle, guess this means no bundy hill! good idea on the reg cab 2wd, you can make a beasT!

Well, last night I tore down my 44 to see what gear set it has, it has 3.53 gears so I have to order the thick gear set, and I just spent $210 on heims from Ruffstuff. Next on the list to order is 14" air shocks (maybe 16") some 4.88 gears, aussie locker, and a full set of chromo shafts......then I gotta find a truck too! I think I am going to pull my frame straight if I can't find anything by the time the 44 is done.

maybe I should just make a build thread.....
