Well, long story short, hit a dear, truck jumped it, pulled the tire to the right, sent me sideways into the ditch where I met a tree. I am ok and my buddy has a couple craked ribs from the seat belt. On with the pictures....

Got it pretty good.....looks like I have a good parts doner for the next build. My frame is wrecked but all suspension looks fine......man, just about had it the way I wanted it.

man that SUCKS! glad your ok though. and i even took off my hat as i scrolled down through the pics. RIP

oh damn dude! glad you guys weren't hurt bad, so sorry about your truck.

Glad to see you and your buddy got out of it without any major injuries. Sorry about your truck though, hope you'll be able to repair it.

fawkin deer, looks like it was quite a ride. Glad your alright, Ill be looking for your next build up!

holy cow that really sucks. Sorry to hear, and glad you and your friend got out "ok"

oh dang! That's a good one for sure! totaled i imagine?! you gonna rebuild or start over?

no biggie...just time to find a new one and start over

so sorry man...as I scrolled down I got a horrified look on my face...my girlfriend looked at me worried and asked what was wrong...told her another ranger died...then she looked at me like I was crazy.

Time to build the next one even better, so sorry to hear about it, but glad you guys are okay.

Thanks everybody!

As far as the rebuild goes, not sure yet. I might be able to salvage it, but I would really like to find a regular cab frame and put all my stuff on there and make it a truggy or do a custom tube frame. Gonna do my SAS at the same time, just not sure yet what I am gonna do.

Exacly how I am trying to take this, figure it is a good time to build the truck I really want. Just a hard pill to swallow when you aren't going to get a check from the insurance company....

:sad::sad::bawling::bawling::bawling:

Yet another ranger shot down in it's prime................... stupid deer.:annoyed:

Glad you're OK, though. Did you kick the deer carcass for good measure?

BTW, I'm going to buy that MAF you showed me. $45 vs. $200 is reason enough, and it's only a few MM smaller than the ones I was looking at. :icon_thumby:

Glad your ok. The truck can be replaced, you and your friend can not be.

I looked really closely. Is that meat from the deer under your driver side 'D' shackle!?

No, that is meat from the tree, LOL. The Deer hit the passenger side and I don't think it did any damage directly

Here are some tear down pictures from today, kinds hard to see, but I think the frame is bent :icon_twisted:

driver side beam pretty much mangled, pushed over and back a little. Also my cab shifted forward and the steering column is ****ed too.
