Well, I don't know how much help this is, but my '04 only has carpet & A/C - no tilt wheel, cruise or power anything that could be remotely perceived as convenience-oriented, and it's an XLT, so I would guess yours is too.

BTW, for future reference, right-click the pic in your PC, and choose "Open With" and select "Paint". Once you have paint open (depending on your version of Paint) click

at the top and select "Rotate right 90*" and save to fix your sideways images. HTH! Kk

It's a...Ranger...

XL, XLT, LMNOP, OICUP....after all the years it's hard to say what it was. Usually the "XL" meant stripped down trim and fewer options. I'm seeing it has a rubber floor mat so I'm betting it's an XL. I see it has a chrome grille, but not chrome trim on the headlights, so I'm betting the grill was replaced at some point, and the headlights are the original plain ones. V6/auto/air/cruise would all have been options, although the 3.0 might have been the base engine with the auto., I'm not sure.

There was the "custom" as well, I had a '92 custom, but yours definitely has a few more options than it did, so I'll agree that its an XL.

Does any one know where I might be able to buy XL emblems online? I tried ebay but I'm not finding any XL emblems.

My fault, it looked like carpet with mats over it to me, but I'm glad there are more knowledgeable folks here to steer this straight.

@ OP, Try you local salvage yard. If there isn't an XL-badged truck in the yard, there may be a bucket of trim pieces somewhere that they'll let you rummage through.

Also, you might try going to the stealership and give them your VIN to see what PN the original badges were. You don't have to buy them there, but at least you've got a chance at finding out what's correct for your truck, and you can later run the part number through an online search.

Mine's an XL cuz it has power nothing. anyway, its less stuff to break or go bad.

Isn't there a plain ole vanilla ranger that is neither XL, XLT or whatever?

I currently have an 87 XL which has chrome trim while the XLT I had didn't.
