irregular tire wear

I drove from NY all the way to KY the other day went i got to KY i notice my front driver side tire was worn down to the medal thread in the tires. i inspected the other tires and they were all worn naturally. My brakes tend grab the wheel and turn it to the left (my left as in i'm sitting in my driver side) maybe that has some affect? also check engine light came on but i don't think it has a relation to the tire. the truck drives pretty straight so i can't think of anything but i bet someone on here might have an idea...?

take it somewhere and have the alignment checked... while you're there, ask and see if they can pull your code with the obd reader.

they'll answer both questions.
