2016 T6 for ranger. This problem started occurring after i changed the filter, I mixed up the fuel lines to the filter while changing the filter. The engine starts perfectly when cold but when i drive for some time let's say for 1/2 hour to 1 hour and when i switch off, it restarts normally but if i leave it off for about 3 minutes it does not restart, it tumbles then shuts off in a couple seconds. I will then have to leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes to cool down some more before it restarts. No error codes are shown on the dash and when i scan the vehicle. Is a sensor or valve damaged? What can i do to fix this?

Morning @amd

Humour us: If your T6 Ranger gas or diesel.

It sounds like a heat soak issue - any chance one of the lines has slipped up against something hot e.g. radiator hose, etc when you accidentally mixed them up?

It's a diesel engine. I'm not sure if one of the lines are up against something hot but I will check.
