Intake worries

I would probably use RTV there, just a tiny bit or it will mess with your gasket alignment. Walt's suggestion for JB Weld is great too if you trust yourself to get it flat.
I'm still deciding what to do I have time block will be at the machine shop for 8-12 weeks lol. Might go with jb weld I've got a small pane of glass ive put a handle on than use a touch of spray adhesive to hold sand paper its great for flat sanding

I did all the intake gaskets whilst swapping the cam synchro. my intake was'nt perfect either, cleaned it up (non invasively), and it seems to be holding up fine. I used the fel pro kit but ditched the rubber middles for a can of right stuff gasket maker. My cam synchro keeps going bad, Im about to swap it again for the 3rd time...Which I only mention because now I can do it removing only the top half of the intake, and when peeking around with only the top half off, everything still looked (and felt), clean, dry, and sealed. In conclusion, to silicone or not to silicone, I say take your time, get a good gasket kit and trust your gut (and fellow rangerers)...Now if only I could solve my cam synchro problem

@Eddo Rogue Have you checked to see if it's receiving the proper voltage. Does it work correctly untill it stops working? Perhaps your working through a batch of bad ones! Try ordering from another company if you haven't before
