So I am curious to see how others who efied their swap did the intake tubing and or air box or k&n type air filter. I know how I can do it but I would like as much fresh air as possible. Pics would be appreciated.

The fiberglass casting tape is popular choice, lots of colors

Google: how to make composite intake tube

I used a factory Ford Thunderbird airbox and MAF, and the accordion style intake tube from a Crown Vic. I'd like a smoother flowing unit, but it seems to perform very well regardless.

I had one heck of a time finding components that fit right. I ordered up several intake tubes from various models from Ebay dirt cheap (Mustang, Thunderbird, Ranger, etc) thinking they'd fit based on the shape of them, but no luck. All of them were just a tad bit off.. I finally went to a junkyard with a tape measure and a set of calipers and adapted parts together. I think that's about the best route to take. I told them I might be back to exchange some parts if they didn't work, and they agreed it would be ok.
