Hello
I've had a clunking when stopping or accelerating from a stop. I plan to drop the driveline and grease the spline. PTFE no longer available looks like. My question is, can a marine grease be used or any other product that would do the trick.

You can still buy the official TSB grease direct from Ford or online. Motorcraft XG-8 PTFE Lubricant

I doubt that stuff is going to be unavailable anytime soon. It's used on a WHOLE LOT of applications.

Or you can fix it like I did. Figured out that if you make the truck an AWD the clunk goes away and you get a V8 as a bonus.
