Infamous mazda the $200 mazda build

Nice mod. I never liked sun roofs myself and they seem to be nothing but problems in the long run.
Thanks. I have had several vehicles with sunroofs and never had an issue..... I guess different luck for different people.

The big thing with them is the frame rusting and/or the water drains plugging up. I’ve seen enough people having issues with them that I want no part of them.

More body work

There it is with the glass installed. I already wired up the switch. Just need to finish the bodywork on the roof and run the drain lines down the pillars. I had to weld a piece of 1" square tubing with a nut inside that hung down about 1 and 1/4" on the inside of the roof on each side to hold the guide rails in the very back. It all works just like factory. Open close and tilt.

I got the roof kind of roughed in and sprayed it with rubber undercoating. I'm not going flawless this is a low budget ratrod kind of build. Got about half the truck done in the baby blue fauxtina

Built bumper brackets out of the old Mazda brackets. Cut them down and turned them side ways and welded them on. I used the slotted holes so I could have some adjustment if needed. Mercury bumper loosely mounted

Looks like the camber is a bit off up front ;)

Are the scuff marks on purpose (like fake bullet holes), or just waiting to finish paint?

I beam suspension....on air bags........layed out......negative camber...........lol should it be At 30 degrees and mines 35 degrees.....lol.

So it rises up a little when you start driving? The front tires look tilted in at the top.

Been driving !!!!!
