I know on some newer Ford F250s and f350s have an auto hub with a manual back up. I am 99% sure they don't make one for a Ranger, but i would love to have the convenience of auto hubs, but the reliability of manuals. I am not even totally sure thats how they work and the newer full sizes, but i think that how.

It's an auto hub that you can manually lock up solid, so you don't have to spin the rears a lil to get the front to lock, shockloading the system. It doesn't actually let you have 2wd low like a full manual hub does.

The Super Duty hubs were used from 1999-current. They use a pulse vacuum just like the Ranger's do. However, they suck as bad as the ranger hubs also. The only good side is you can manually lock them.

I just switched mine out to a set of Warn Manual's last month.

I moved this to the proper forum.
