Well I installed the new fuel pump that AutoZone swapped out for me and the truck seems to be back up and running good for now. I just took it out for a test run and no signs of stalling like before. I'll know for sure in a couple of days though if it's all good or not.

Kinda worried right now though about the fuel gauge like Red85 said. It may be off but it's registering with my gauge at right under 1/4 tank. It's got a little over 3 inches of fuel from the bottom so maybe it's right. Only time will tell for sure.

I crimped down the wire terminals a little tighter with a small set of needle noses so the wires would fit over the spades tighter. They were wiggling before so maybe that was my problem to begin with. I made sure the vent was'nt clogged or anything and pretty much double checked everything except the return line and pressure regulator (if mine has one). I'm pretty happy right now because I can tell it's doing way better then before. I sure hope I got it. Take care guys.

Good luck, I know unfortiantly you've had a few problems with your truck in the past so hopefully you got everything sorted out. Kepp us updated!

Thanks Southern, really appreciate it. I think the fact that I've put sooooooo many miles on my Ranger from my previous employer has a lot to do with it. I would put an average of 200 miles a day on it. That was as long as I've owned it, since 2001 I think.

It's got 370,000 on it and I'm going to be picking up a tranny out in Vegas for it next week sometime. Then it'll be onto the engine and so on. I like it too much to get rid of it for some reason. Take care.
