Is it me or are you guys really big on the B2's? Don't hear much talk about Explorers on here.

Use the search feature, Bro. Lots of topics about the exploders on this site.

Explorers are common. B2s were only made for a few years and are relatively rare. That's why we usually worry more about fixing the B2s. Explorers were the best selling small SUV for over 15 years. They are everywhere and most times they are easier to replace than to fix.

A lot of guys do a lot of things with their Explorers though.

Yep what he ^^ said. :icon_thumby:

B2s are just awesome! there are a couple exploder builds here too

Honestly, I never really cared for the Explorers. I liked the smaller size of the B2's, it's too bad Ford replaced them with the Explorer Sport.

They are also a treasure-trove of parts.

Engines, axles, transmissions, t-cases, radiators, bucket seats, consoles (both between the seats and overhead)... the list goes on and one. :icon_thumby:

Simply put, B2s are badass to the max.

Explorers are a dime a dozen, and dont have the same aesthetic appeal when built up... Plus they have all the features wheelers dont like, such as way too many Autos and electric 4x4 systems...

Maybe I should build a 3.0 B2, instead of a 5.0 B2.

Go for mileage, not raw power.

...a 3.0 B2...

:ban:

NEVER! EVER! EVER! say that again! "3.0" and "b2" should never be used in the same sentence together. i need to rinse my eyes.. with gasoline.. supreme too..

There is a very active forum for explorers...

Most of the explorer guys hang out there. :icon_thumby:

I personally like them all. They are all great trucks. When I had my Explorer I usually hung around on www.explorerforum.com because it's more Explorer specific. Although they share a lot in common with the other RBV's, they do have their own uniqueness.
