Kansas doesn't have emmissions test ?

Neither does Oklahoma. I have the EGR valve on both my Lightning and Ranger deleted. On the Lightning to make plug changes easier. The Ranger because it was defective, and why bother replacing the pos?

I still have the cats on my Ranger, but wonder if they're still good. Smelly exhaust. But no code for them though. I have no muffler on it. A bent "Y" is attached to the back of the cat, with two stainless tips poking out in front of the passenger side wheel. Sounds pretty bad-ass, even idling.

I've found that these things can improve a Lima: Remove emissions equipment, Open dump exhaust under the cab, Throttle cable mod, And a Italian tuneup to remove carbon. And yes my town hates me because of exhaust but none of the cops seem to care.

All this talk of 4.10's with a 4 cyl, my 4.0 had 4.10's in my 03 Edge. With the manual that truck was awesome. I miss that truck.
