OH, yes...I already felt the pressure about Christmas...it is one of my worst seasons because I really love and hate it at the same time...and I often wished every day was Christmas...

I live in a small friendly town it's actually known for being that way .I go to the city Reno in this case people are routinely rude to each other.Ten people waiting for an elevator the doors to open and walking front of them and stepping inside.If something seems wrong to me I ask myself is this the person I want to be.Most people don't think about anything but there own convenience.

Oh, I just absolutely love this time of year! It's when I'm able to loosen up and smile a bit more and try to brighten someone else's day. Well put! Heck even France is flexing their muscles again, it's enough to make me believe they may not have all been castrated after all. Our "commander in chief" has all but apologized for not providing enough "aid" to the freaking ISIS crowd! But since the San Bernardino assailants used some black guns we need to ban the guns and give shelter to some 10 million Syrian refugees? Yeah, I heard a story about a town down south somewhere that had a violent crime rate that was astronomical and the police weren't able to do anything about it. The Mayor and city council passed an ordinance that REQUIRED everyone that could legally possess a firearm to get one. They even provided assistance to those that could not afford them, and training to make sure everyone could use it effectively. Surprise surprise, the violent crime rate (along with all other crime) dripped to near zero within 3 months.

Not sure if that story was true or not, but the logic works.

A well armed citizen is a free citizen.

bad things happen all the time....the perception of it being more or less is what the media sells at the time. shit that was not widely reported during one generation because of prudence and aim towards peace and security is wildly exploited today due to our elitist progressive trained media that is pushing its own narrative and agendas..

this is something that requires a responsible participant in a civil well armed society to "execute necessary action" to point and counter point the facts being sold as news and to make their own rational decisions...

I'm not so sure the media has any agenda other than making money, if people would not read or tune in to they're hog wash they would not get depressed etc. And the media would lose credibility ,Take a moment and listen , not to "what" they are reporting , but "how" they are reporting it... for example, Lester Holt nightly news [not a fan of any of them], reports his pre scripted drivel as if it were "fact", these people get paid huge money to sound this way, and sound very convincing, not unlike our leaders.
Mark88, you are exactly right, step back from the heat of the news for a few days and see if your anxiousness does not subside, like I said in an earlier post, give extra love to your family and friends, keep your view away from the news troughs, because in the end it's not going to matter anyway.
And yes there is a division in this country, not caused "by" the people, but our leaders that find it easier to push they're agenda when the masses are confused and don't know what to believe. As I get older I find it amazing how the human mind can create so many wonderful things in life, but can also be very very evil.
