I was talking to one of my neighbors on Friday and found out that Dr Phil did a episode of a family in the neighborhood.Back Story. This family has owned this 275k house for more than 8 years and have never moved into it.They also own another 300k condo that is packed with so much shit that the kids no longer have bedrooms and sleep on couches.Nice, real nice. Now mind you that there are aprox 115 homes in our development and these slobs maybe mow their yard 1 or twice a year,no unkeep whatsoever and for about 6 months had a POD parked the driveway.

Now how in Gods name family services is not involved is beyond me?

Ever since this family has moved into this house they have gone out of their way to piss anyone off.Riding snowmoblies, atvs in their back yard like a 16yr old or running a bobcat @11 pm. You have to understand that this is a development in a city of 11k.Not out in the country. They have every right to build this polebarn but basically giving the finger to everyone else.
So here are the Highland hillbillys

Rant is now over

Sounds like the people who used to live next to my sister. Apparently they inheirited some money and bought a nice big new house and lived like pigs. After about two years they got evicted because they couldn't afford the property taxes.

all i can say to that first one is .........DAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNN, WHERE'S THE DUMP TRUCK:bad::bad:kinda reminds me of a family i knew back home. they were a family of JUNK collectors, there front yard, if you could call it that, looked like sanford and sons, and when you walked in the front door it was wall to wall- floor to ceiling stacked with CRAP, SALVAGED OUTTA A DUMPSTER, for cripes sake:stop:now i believe in waste not want not, but come on. and the kid weren't to brite either, he bought a real nice trans am from local dealer on payments, pulled the motor [ ran just fine BTW] dismantled the motor, came up with spare parts:bad:and when he couldn't get it to run he took a sledgehammer to the car. ALL WHILE STILL OWING MONEY ON IT.:bad::bad:

Wow

there are a few hillbillys next to me.........

I use to have a next door neighbor like that first family. They had a path from the front door to the kitchen, bathroom and upstairs. Their house was FULL of junk. You litterally couldn't use the living room. They had two garages that were packed full, a back yard full of stuff and junk cars in the driveway incleading a hearse.

the first one i can udnerstand it being disturbing.....but the second one, unless theres some sort of rules against what there doing, breaking noise curfews and whatnot, or if the polebarn wasnt built to code.....i dont see the big deal, if they are breaking noise curfews just call the cops, other then that, they can do pretty much whatever they want on there property, and id build a garage like that too if i had the money and space, excpet i wouldnt have no 10ft ceiling, id be runnin my own personal garage out of it

I know he has every right to build the barn on his property. He has pulled all of the necessary permits and such. Not an issue. The issue is that most of the houses are on 1/2 acre lots.It doesn't "fit" with the rest of the homes. If you want to ride your dirtbike, snowmobile or whatever then move out in the country. There he can build the Taj Mahal of pole barns.Just the FU mentality pisses me off more that the food hoarder woman.
Ex. The homeowner association had a complaint that (house was a VA forclosure) at one point someone spray painted F@ck you on the side of the house.I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't want FU on the the side of my house but I guess its okay for him.

I have to agree with Hughs on the barn. If they had all permits and built to code then get over it. Looks like a good guild. Did you take the video? Did you have permission to be on their property? I did like the music, couple of local boys from here. If I had more land I would build one.

its his house, if u got a problem wiht it contact the local authorities, if they show up often enough then they might stop, but if there not breakin any laws, and the polebarn doesnt appear to be a eye sore, then i dont see it as a problem, how big is there property

and personally....i wouldnt want to have to FIT in, i never will, if i were u i woulda became friends with him and had convinced him to build a garage in the pole barn, since hes got all them toys odds are he knows his shit when it comes to fixin them, and ud spend less money on a mechanic everytime u got a simple problem that u dont know how to fix.....not to be a prick or anything

Um no that is the homeowners youtube video. He spray painted highland hillbilly on his lovely pole barn.Someone had complained to the Aurora PD about that. When the cops arrived he was yelling at the cops say he would highlight it in bright green next.

He knew going in what "type" of neighborhood he was moving into.I have a straight shot looking at the back side of it.Zoning allows me to build up to half of my sq footage of my house and up to 25 in height. But do I?
and yes I know how to change a starter....

well, how big is his property, i know u wouldnt be able to build a garage that size on a half acre....no way in hell

my old neighbors had 3 pitbulls in their sideyard, like 5 yorkies, and they just were selling weed all day ... thank goodness they got evicted ... we couldnt even enjoy our backyard cause they never cleaned up after they dogs.

But i hate it when people bitch about what people build on THEIR LAND ... back when i still lived with my parents my dad had to wait YEARS till our bitch ass neighbor moved out so he could re-roof our garage, and build a shed, cause she woulda done something dumb, despite the fact that her entire deck was built with no permit

Like me he is in the old section(20+) built in the mid 60s.Lots ran from the largest 1.5 acres to 1/2+/- acre.He I believe is around 1 1/4+/- acre. The newer houses pretty much are 1/2 acre lots(70+).Like I said in my first post,He has every right to build an accessory building.Hell my property can look a little hilljack(rusty old ranger being one) at times, but when you move into a development you loose a little freedom. What you do on your house can affect my house. While it might seem that I'm whining over stupid shit,I have worked my ass of for the house that I own and I'm here for the long run.
