Hey hey!

From the great frozen north here.

I have a ‘89 Ford Ranger Custom that has been quite neglected before I got her.

New valve cover gaskets, battery, master cylinder, battery terminal contact, a new starter, and working on a power steering hose.

Still so many things to do and much to learn. This seems like a great place for information sharing! Glad it is here 😊

Welcome to TRS!

Alaska is definitely north. Do Rangers rust up there? Or is it too cold?

well, Joey (my truck’s nickname… think Joe Dirt, lol) has been passed around and seriously unloved.

The guy who had her before me liked to take her down to the inlet/river drainage and rally around (salt and sand) I would assume the list of owners before rallied her too. Point of that is: yes rust does happen up here, she’s got some serious character. lol. I love her all the same. I think about that one line in the movie where he says “that sh!t will buff out” 😆

Deff going to be a piece by piece project, I am tryin to do the little stuff with a friend of mine and the big stuff will come later.
