How to prevent tire rub on 285/75 r16's

Hey all. 2002 b3000 4x4. Gonna crank my tbars to 2" and throw a pair of shackles on my rear for a 2" net lift pretty soon. Read on the FAQ that with a 1.5" crank 285/75r16s will fit with slight rubbing. I don't want anything to rub- I lost $1000 in tires on a previous vehicle due to tires that were supposed to fit with no rub but actually had a slight rub on the inside. I'm not a fan of spacers but if that's what has to be done I'll do it. Are there any other ways to prevent the rub short of buying new wheels? I really like the stock wheels and don't want to change if I don't have to.

Possibly. Not a huge fan of them either though if that’s what’s needed i’ll do it. Less likely to destroy something than wheel spacers lol.
How much body lift do you think would be needed? 1”?

I don’t remember any rubbing on my 99 with a 1” body lift and slight bar crank. Back was lifted in the process of the axle swap but I never measured before and after.

A body lift shouldn't screw with pinion angle, right? I got shims for my rear axle based on 2" of lift and it's definitely too late to return them.

Also, how many blocks do you need for a body lift on these trucks? Intuition says 8, but I'd rather ask than find out mid lift.

No to affecting pinion angle. My recollection is 10 blocks but I wouldn’t swear to that.

Shouldn't affect it all. Just raising the body of the frame. Drivetrain stays put.

IIRC 12 for a supercab. There are 6 cab mounts and 6 bed bolts.
Crawl under it and count the mounts...

Not by the truck atm, will find time later tonight.
Thinking i might go with hockey pucks instead of paying $112 for steel spacers, lol. Later on once I get the 4" superlift and a pair of deaver springs for the rear, the tbar crank and body lift will come off, so i'm not too concerned about permanence. A body lift will also drop my shifter further down, correct?
Also, what's the chance I can just cut some fender out?

Yes to the shifter. I probably wouldn't notice 1".

Fender trimming is always a possibility, if you don't mind the look or wanna run some cut-out flares...

The rubber splash guards inside my fender wells were lost to the woods months ago, so I doubt I'd mind fender trimming as long as it's on the inside. the FAQ said that's where the rubbing would be.
I wish I had a good picture of my truck's side profile, the fenders make it look like there's mountains of room for tires. Previous owner put tires on that are slightly smaller than stock. Truthfully the tire width is my biggest concern, but finding 32's that are 10" wide seems impossible.

32x10 tends to bring out the UTV tires.

285/75R16 is closer to a 33. I know there are 33x10.50R15... Kinda spendy. Hence why I'm looking at the 285/75R16 myself.

255/85R16 might be closer for my purposes...
