Just that It is driving me nutz!!!

I don't want to tear the headliner

nor do I want to cut a hole in the roof...

I can't get that thing apart!

I finally figured it out, the light is a one-piece assembly that has metal barbs that hold in the fiber headliner material...

The bulb is the type with wire loops that hook onto barbed electrical contacts.

So I now have all LED interior lighting, but I still don't have the "puddle" lights on the front doors working.... or the red warning lamps in the same place...

You're just about as bad as I am. LOL.

First thing I did with our Bronco?

Went out at night and turned ALL the lights on with a handful of dash bulbs and trim bulbs...etc..... in my hands just looking for burnt out bulbs to replace.

Huge pet peeve of mine: Cluster bulbs being blown....

I currently have several dead inst cluster bulbs but I haven't been ambitious enough to go chasing them yet...

I've been distracted of late (new (LIVE IN) girlfriend) and have had other issues on my mind...

But I'll get to the instrument bulbs when I'm not otherwise occupied....

But the interior illumination bulbs were a critical issue as I hate losing packages of meat while unloading groceries...

Ah, hence the settling down and getting a nice 4dr family SUV. :icon_idea:

Nope, it was more a matter of getting a vehicle that had a legal inspection sticker, because my ranger does not and in it's current state cannot...

I bought the explorer in January the GF moved in in April and moved out in May, because she wants her own place, not that I didn't want her to stay, but...
