I have a 2003 ranger 2wd. I want a little wider look for it. I dont want it to look lowered or lifted. i want a stock 15 inch wheel that sticks out some. Maybe just 1/4 of the tire sticking out of the fenderwell. Im going for a sporty-like look and preferably bullethole. Its just that all this offset and backspacing makes no sense to me. I want the wheel to look kind of deep or recessed however.

Looks great! I was told a 10 inch wheel would be too wide cause its a 2wd and not lifted. But it looks like the width i want

It just depends on the width of your tire, and you could get an 8in wide wheel with about 3.5-3.75 backspacing

My Canyon wheels are 15x8 with 4.5" backspacin and I have 275/60's on the rear..........with my Explorer 8.8 they sat flush with the wheelwell:
