Think about selling my ranger. Its an 85 reg cab long bed w/74k original miles. 2.8L 5 spd 4x4. Brand new 6" Class 2 Skyjacker lift, 8.8 disc rear w/4.56 gears and ARB air locker. Dana 35 TTB Front w/ Disc and 4.56 gears. New flowmaster muffler. New Warn Hubs up front. New ARB compressor. New rear window. All the axle work was done by a local 4x4 shop, not me. Also, the rear axle has spacers that can be removed it necessary. Brand new maxxis 33x12.50x15 bighorns on black steel wheels from summit. Tires have approx 100 miles on them. All this truck needs is a paint job. Everything else is PERFECT! Truck is just sitting in my back yard collecting dust. Trying to figure out if its worth letting go. If I think of anything else, i'll add later.

good grief, i dont know what to tell ya,
dont want to offend you but id say like $8,000 maybe the cheapest
all depends how much you got in it. i wouldn't pay over $11,000
thats just me though, then again you can park it in my yard and ill make sure it dont collect dust.....nice truck

I am assuming you bought everything new, minus the truck itself, so figuring $1500 for the truck I am guessing you have about $7-8000 into the whole thing?

I guess around $3-4000 seems about right to me but it's really hard to put a value on something like this. You never get back what you put into something, especially not an old lifted 4x4 pickup. If you're serious about selling it, have it appraised, post a price near the appraisal value, and work with potential buyers from there.

Truck 1200.00
Lift - 1400.00
Tires and wheels - 1200.00
Rear Axle - 950.00
Front axle - 250.00
Muffler - 50.00
ARB Compressor - 150.00
Hubs - 180.00
Misc - 200.00

Installation of lift, axles, and gears - 1800.00

Total - 7380.00

The sad thing about cars/trucks. You never get out what you put in. Ive put probably around $6000 and countless hours of labor into my maxima, blue books for like $2500 or something. and I know no one would want to pay what i think its worth. So to me, its something Ill never sell because its worth more to me than what someone will ever be willing to pay me for it.

Its worth whatever you can get out of it. The value isnt in your eyes, it's in the buyers eyes. I would start at ten grand and move down little by little.

The value of any item is what the customer is willing to pay on a given day.:)shady

if i had the money itd be mine

priceless. it should be collecting dust, mud, scratches etc out on the trail, dont you wheel it? If not, why did you put all that work into it? Just curious.

A carbed 2.8 and needs a paint job?

If I was shopping for something like that, I'd pay maybe 2500 for it assuming everything else is in good shape. But I'm cheap.

If that was within a 750km drive of here, I'd gladly drop $4000 on it for a truck so clean, and built. Around here they just don't hold up without a lot of care, most are very rusted out. The 2.8 would only last long enough to drive it home and into the shop before it got a stroker small block though.... :icon_twisted:

Wow...nice truck~!

And your grass is so green it almost adds value to the vehicle...I wouldn't sell it if it was mine, regardless of the price...you've done or had a lot of work put into that vehicle...just paint it and drive it...

depends so much on the interior to me... sure they may be easy fixes, but that is what you see the most when you are driving!

just my $0.02
