158k on my '03. Just bought it. Everything checked out with my mechanic so hopefully this thing will go to 200k or more. I only drive about 2.5k miles/year, so I'm hoping I can get 10 years out of it.
I had an 1994 ranger with the 4.0L that had 170,000 on it when I traded it in on a 2003 ranger 4.0L. Other than a pinging problem it was running great. Ford was offering a rebate that was to good to pass up. I currently have 90,000 on my 2003 with no problems so far.
171k on the 94 I just bought. I got the whole truck for $500! It needs some work but runs great and the tranny and clutch are both in great shape. The 4 wheel drive system works like a charm and the tires are 70%. The windshield is cracked down by the wipers and the front bumper is dented. I need taillight lenses and a few other odds and ends but I'm pretty happy with the whole deal. I might just get this one on the road and park the 99 Ranger. The 3.0 in it has nowhere near the guts that the 4.0 has.
93 2wd 5spd with 338,000km no rebuild but replaced water pump and rad, clutch done couple years ago. Still motors along although compressiom getting low, anyone recommend a oil additive...'Engine Restore'...they still sell that syrup?
