my just turned 197K and still runs like champ, burns no oil, does good on the highway and will still roast the tires. ill admit, it does need more balls, but for a tired 2.9 i lover her:3gears::headbang:

237,000 still running strong, doesn't even tick, leaks/burns a bit of oil though.

148,750

Runs like a champ, 20-24mpg

wow, think you will see 300K? i hope to see at least 250K on mine. when i does die, im just gonne rebuild it, i love the way these motors last and the good mileage im getting:derisive:

the old 2.9 i had had 347k miles, would still smoke the 33's with stock gears, before a tragic coolant changing accident....

Mine had about 170k on it, then it cracked a head....
The one I have now has about 107k.

you could set ur watch by the rythmic ticking of my engine before it died, idk how it passed inspection lol

Mines at about 154K and seems to run perfect (no tick or knock like a lot seem to have either).

22-23 hwy MPG in a lifted BII (when doing 55-60)

lol, the trans that was in my truck is actually still tickin every day aswell, best damn tranny ive ever had, the trans now has over 400k miles on it, only thing wrong with it is the input shaft bearing, but its been like that sicne i got it

193,000 on mine. And it'll sit there until I collect the parts for an M5OD swap, or find another Mitsu...

Sure hope I don't have to got another 63K with it :fie: Oh yeah I also hydrolocked it 2 summers ago and didn't have any tools with me, had to bump the starter to force the water out, damn thing wont die! Would really like a 4.0 or a 4bt.

289,000 starts on first turn every time. Low, but even compression. Leaks just about everything, but doesn't burn anything. Getting an average of 19 MPG. I Love her lol...BUT A 4.0 is gettin dropped in next week!

about 163,000. starts everytime, and has been really reliable, it has a slight tick at idle though
