how many miles does you 2.9 have?

223,000 on my 2.9 Auto- I drive it everyday and it has never let me down. My injectors tick pretty loud but no lifter tick. Doesnt burn any oil either. Planning on a 302 swap though very shorty:D

145000

Just got it from my dad. He's had it since 12/91 when I rolled his first one. It has shorts and finally killed it's starter, but he didn't know why it wouldn't start when the starter let go. Said I could have it if I could make it run. Got about $200 in it, took it on it's first trail run today.

198,000 when i killed her.ran so good i thought it had been rebuilt. i was a little shocked to see it was factory spec during the autopsy

guy who sold me my truck swapped motors at 295xxxkm said that the replacment one had around 100xxxkm
truck is now at 350xxxkm, which would be around 155xxxkm, and runs like she just rolled outta the factory....except for the mild ticking...oh wait...

:3gears:
