The 2001 Ford Ranger Edge Supercab I recently bought has had some "modifications" (and that is being kind ) done to parts of the electrical system. I am fairly adept with electrical work so not too much of an issue, but I am running into one with the horn.

Previous owner replaced the horn with an air horn and toggle (not momentary) switch. I want to restore the original horn system. I can find most of the electrical structure except for one major component...the switch on the steering wheel.

I have searched this site, other forums, and various manuals for pictures of what it SHOULD look like behind the air bag. ANy assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thx!

v/r,

The airbag body is the switch contact. There should be a single spade connector that goes onto the back of the airbag, that's the horn wire.
