HMMM Ranger knowledge quiz??

i was thinkin, what would be a cool thing todo on the site would be for the mods ot put together a ranger knowledge test, with a ranking in knowledge in 1-10, simply becuase far too often now people that should not be giving advice to people on here and sending people in the wrong direction, and one person telling another false information tends to spread it, but this way users could see the knowledge of the person they are talking to about a question or problem and be able to take what they say for what its worth to them. just a thought im sure alot of people that consider themselves ranger "experts" might get pissed off with a low score, but its just a thought

I think it would be cool if we could figure out how to make an online-quiz.

but there is a problem, some people know a lot in one area and jack shit in another and if they get a low quiz score, then when there tryin tohelp somebody in the area they know a lot about then the low quiz score might make the person gettin helped think that the person helping them is just bull shittin.

Hmmm I'm digging sections.... You know like how ACT or SAT...... Math, Science etc... BUT like Engine, Drive Train, Electrical, Suspension.... and then like Old and New. I know a ton about the older B2, Rangers, Explorers since my B2 is basically all three now lol, but couldnt help you with the newer ones

I would be more than happy to help put a test together. Might need to go out and buy a bunch of manuals on the Ranger,sploder,B2

So basicaly A test for pre 94 and a test for 95 and up or somthin

I like Nate's idea. I do know a hell of a lot more on the pre-94 models and not so much on the 95+ models.

It just helps a hell of a lot since I own three '85s and one '94.

I'll throw in some knowledge on the test if you would like me to.

I am the same way except i know more about Gen 3s than i do about Gen 1s and Gen 2s.

I have found ways to create an on-line quiz.

I will look in to putting together a quiz. It may take a while.

Since I don't claim to know everything, you guys can submit what you think are the harder questions to me at admin@therangerstation.com for me to use. You can also include a picture if it's something you want people to identify.

DON'T POST IT HERE.

It will defeat the purpose and let everyone know what's on the quiz.

My goal will be to test the user, not to share results and embarrass anyone. It also won't be used for deciding who gives out tech info. It will be designed more for fun and to let you see how much YOU really know.

once again that brings up the fact that someone can get a reputation point for just about anything, this shows ACTUAL knowledge, not just regurgatated google info. if we setup the quiz for each section then we can really have a grasp if someone knows what there talkin about not someone that gets reputation for something pointless
