Yeah that's not the only thing Chevy has done that is better than Ford. Just compare all the techy stuff in a new Silverado compared to a new ford. I don't know why Ford hasn't copied what GM has been doing for years. The new ZR2 seems like a much better truck than the new ranger in my opinion.
 
I don’t know about the new Ranger that is coming out but the Dana 35 SLA on the older models weren’t real locker tolerant. Sure you could get one but there was a chance you could break something. You’re better off with a limited slip in the front.

For what it’s worth, most expedition drivers don’t use a front locker often anyway (so they tell us). Short of mostly straight line driving, a locker binds they system up too much.

Someone who rock crawls or does muddin’ might feel differently.
