Ok so I knew my pads were shot and my parking brake light has been on since I bought the truck. I figured by replacing the pads it would help both issues. Well the new pads would not line up and I can't get the drum back on. So I did some reading and it appears that my ebrake cable is stuck on. So I removed it from the drum thinking it would help. No its the same. Anybody know whats going on? I looked at the other side and everything is hooked up the same.

is the adjuster all the way in? i had the same problem when i put mine on might have to move the pads around and get it on the pivot point. maybe put the e brake back on too.

Well the ebrake is stuck. I need a new cable so its not going back on for now. And yes the adjuster is all the way in. I have been fighting this for a couple hours now.

Ok so I decided to start working on the other side and guess what I found. The brake bleeder! Went back to look at the other side and it had been broke off. Thats why I didn't see it. Lol well need less to say I got it back on. Why do I always pick the most difficult side to start with on all my projects?

It looks like the shoes are on the wrong side, the long shoe goes to the rear of the vehicle. Check that your wheel cylinders are not seized.

Yeah I realized that after I took the picture, but it didn't make a difference. I got them on after I realized my bleeder was broke off. I had to loosen the brake line to bleed it.
